The Institute develops proprietary on-line tools for people who come to a new crossroads in their life and seek support  in making the transition to a new career, life style, social status or outlook.  The Institute's tools enable self-assessment  by people who have already accumulated experiences and knowledge of the world, yet find that understanding others does not translate into  understanding oneself, without which any choice is random and fraught with profound disappointments.  Most of the self-assessment tests currently used in the United States have been developed by and for institutions to help them manage human resources. Based on its own analysis of social and anthropological research and observational studies, the Institute addresses the needs of the individual, rather than an institution.  Recognizing the demographic shifts in our society , we focus on accomplished adults who want to continue to flourish in the modern American society based on a deeper understanding of their own values, motivations, capacity and emotional needs .
