New Self-Assessment Tools to Inspire Mature Americans

The hectic pace of life imposed by the modern American society deprives many of us of the breathing space where we can pause and ask who we are, and what would it take to sustain the drive over the many years ahead. We make our first choices in youth long before we can grasp life's many options, before our personalities are fully shaped, our strengths tested, and our place in the society identified.  After a lifetime of personal and professional milestones, we come to associate ourselves with the expectations of our professional, familial and other social networks. When these expectations shift out of focus with years, we are left with what others projected on us, and a very tenuous understanding of who we have become. 

You do not have to have a middle-life crisis to know that you have reached an new stage in life, and to reach for tools to choose how to live it. The I-to-I Institute is dedicated to giving accomplished individuals the tools they can use to understand themselves at this moment in their life, when choices are real, and the self is already firm yet unexamined. We believe that structured introspection rooted in latest advances in social science, philosophy and anthropology will lead to answers that will inspire our users to make the best of their personalities, experience, capacities and aspirations.
